Job Description

Eurofins CDMO Alphora is looking for a hands-on individual to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse/Laboratory Associate is responsible for all warehousing duties and will provide support to our laboratories to ensure seamless operations on a daily basis.

Job Description:

• Responsible for maintaining general cleanliness of the warehouse Chemical, Consumable and Solvent/Waste Storage rooms.
• Inventory management in the warehouse & laboratories
• Support the procurement process.
• Shipping & receiving duties.
• Responsible for waste removal from labs (solid, glass, garbage, chemical, etc.) and to waste removal company.
• Support dishwashing/organization of laboratory glassware and general cleaning of the laboratory as required.
• Responsible for unpackaging, moving and assembly of equipment and furniture (e.g., chairs, stools, shelving units etc.) as required.
• Set-up/teardown of meeting rooms/office for events as required.
• General maintenance support
• Transport items across campus as required.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred
• Education: high school/college diploma
• Good time management skills
• Effective communicator both written and oral
• Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and part of a team
• Must be task oriented and take initiative.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
• Experience with MS Office Suite required.
• Forklift experience an asset (training will be provided)
