Position Overview:

Multimatic Niche Vehicles is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced Inventory Cycle Counter to join our successful Newmarke t team imme diately . We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry.

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure inventory accuracy through random cycle counts on a daily, monthly and/or quarterly basis and to ensure and maintain accurate records of in-stock/out-stock products and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cycle count maintenance parts inventory as required .

  • Requests and print required reports for cycle counting.

  • Ensure there are accurate inventory levels, and discrepancies are immediately reported to the Plant Management and investigated.

  • Utilize CMMS software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity and create reports.

  • Ensure parts are in proper locations and conduct searches for misclassified inventory.

  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate them.

  • Verify parts received are being consolidated and put away accurately.

  • Maintain parts identification, location, and labels.

  • Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve inventory accuracy.

  • Report discrepancies or anomalies in inventory amounts to Maintenance Staff.

  • Report safety and quality concerns to the proper department.

  • Review non-active, slow-moving inventory and make recommendations on disposition.

  • Identify inventory transaction problems, and research discrepancies to identify causes of problems.

  • Assist with location audits and verifying that the physical location matches bin location(s), inputting adjustments after review.

  • Gain knowledge of product and storage locations within the facility and outside the warehouse

  • Commit to principles of occupational health and safety.

  • Operate various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High-school diploma or post-secondary education

  • 3 years' experience in a warehousing/manufacturing environment; cycle counting and inventory including strong working knowledge and understanding of CMMS system and SAP.

  • RF Scanner experience

  • Comfortable working at heights

  • Skilled in anticipating , identifying , and troubleshooting problems.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Must have good interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact well with other departments.

  • Must be a quick learner, good problem solver and able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Computer literacy is a must with established knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as the Internet.

  • Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

  • A valid or expired Forklift certificate is a must , to assist in moving materials and products.

  • Fall Arrest license is an asset.

  • Must be a person of integrity and trustworthiness.

  • Punctuality and attendance are critical.
