Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including furniture and restaurant supply repairs in our warehouse, to ensure our facilities and equipment remain in top condition. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot issues in buildings, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Conduct minor renovations, painting, and drywall repairs as needed.
  • Repair and restore furniture and restaurant supply equipment in the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete larger projects.
  • Keep inventory of tools and supplies, ordering replacements when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture repairs, restaurant supply maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in maintenance-related fields are a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required (up to 50 lbs.).
