Sysco, based in Toronto, is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator/Back Up Driver. You will pick and move goods, load/unload trucks, and maintain strict inventory controls in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in food service warehouse and delivery.
• Forklift certified with REACH and reverse steer experience.
• Experience using scanners/inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean abstract and CVOR.
• English reading/writing; ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in cold/freezer environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Time management in a fast-paced setting; problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate, timely selection of customer orders.
• Performs order picking and put-away; maintains FIFO.
• Scans and validates box counts and returns to stock.
• Loads/unloads trucks; backs up driver as needed.
• Responds to defrosting operations and carton bailing.
• Maintains inventory control and proper documentation.
• Operates forklifts in a safe, compliant manner.
• Supports housekeeping and safety policies; OHSA.
• Communicates clearly with team and customers where applicable.
