Job summary

Hitachi Energy Canada Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support field service operations by organizing, maintaining, and preparing tools, equipment, materials, and consumables for upcoming work scopes.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or field service support.
• Able to receive, inspect, organize, and ship materials.
• Comfortable with basic tool testing and maintenance tasks.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, identify, and organize incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for tools, equipment, parts, consumables, and service materials.
• Prepare, stage, pick, pack, label, and ship materials and equipment for field service activities.
• Process returned equipment, inspect it for damage or maintenance needs, and coordinate follow‑up actions as required.
• Build job kits and prepare tools, materials, drawings, and consumables for upcoming work scopes.
• Perform basic inspections, preventative maintenance, cleaning, testing, and organization of tools and equipment.
• Track equipment movements and assist with inventory counts, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, storage areas, and equipment yards.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
