Scandesigns Ltd in Canada is seeking a Furniture Warehouse/Delivery Associate to join our team. This role combines warehouse duties with on‑road deliveries, ensuring furniture reaches customers safely and on time.

You will load, unload, and assist with setup, perform vehicle checks, and help with inventory and receiving. A valid license, ability to lift heavy items, and strong customer service are essential; the position operates Monday through Saturday.

• Operate commercial vehicles including box trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws.

• Assist in warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Furniture Warehouse/Delivery Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient handling, transportation, and delivery of furniture products to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering furniture items while maintaining high standards of professionalism and care throughout each interaction. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a growing company committed to quality service and customer satisfaction. The job is split between both deliveries and warehouse work where you will take part in assembly, receiving containers, loading our transfer trucks and other general warehouse duties. We operate our warehouse Monday through Saturday and deliveries occur Tuesday through Saturday.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or related roles involving furniture or heavy goods
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks with manual transmission preferred
• Demonstrated ability in customer service, providing professional assistance during deliveries
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
• Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety standards
• Prior experience with courier or delivery driver roles is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
