Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Cycle Count Coordinator to support inventory accuracy in our Toronto warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain stock integrity.

Responsibilities include staging and returning sleeves, forklift operations, assisting with loading/unloading, and contributing to process improvements. Strong English communication and a valid forklift license are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Experience in cycle counting preferred in a fast paced Production/Manufacturing environment.
• Must be a licensed Forklift operator (both Reach and Counterbalance).
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Staging sleeves and returning sleeves.
• Returning and investigating discrepancies in IML Labels.
• Investigating and looking for missing skids, POUTs and MOUTs.
• Perform Cycle Counting (2 aisles per day) and inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, if any.
• Coordinating all physical inventories and physically pulling out CUSOBS (customer obsolete) and scraping.
• Assisting with loading and offloading trucks as business demands with the forklift.
• Using the scissor lift for pulling down boxes, cycle counts, etc.
• Assisting inventory analyst.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Resolve any variances between physical and actual counts per schedule.
• Research and provide cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Cycle Count Coordinator/Inventory Control Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible to help achieve and maintain accuracy of inventory within the warehouse to the guidelines set forth by Polytainers, Inc.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

• Staging sleeves and returning sleeves
• Returning and investigating discrepancies in IML Labels
• Investigating and looking for missing skids, POUTs and MOUTs (need to describe what is POUT, MOUT)
• Perform Cycle Counting (2 aisles per day) and inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, if any

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Educational Requirements: Grade 12 education or equivalent

Minimum Experience/Field: Experience in cycle counting preferred in a fast paced Production/Manufacturing environment

Licenses/Permits Required: Must be a licensed Forklift operator (both Reach and Counterbalance)

Communication Skills: Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements: Movement in and around facility; ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, kneel, squat, and other motions necessary for inventory management; near vision, color discrimination, depth perception, and tactile discrimination; ability to concentrate for extended period of time in disruptive environment; close visual acuity needed for the computer.
