Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles
  • Maintaining proficient knowledge of all shipping/receiving processes and procedures
  • Picking and put-away of all product types
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications, and handling instructions
  • Verifying and reporting on inventory; ensuring report accuracy
  • Processing store entry stock transfers
  • Upholding all health, safety, security, and operational policies and procedures
  • Responding to customer inquiries and offering solutions professionally
  • Following up with customers to identify and support their needs
  • Promoting customer loyalty through exceptional support
  • Reviewing and following up on order reports daily
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment (asset)
  • Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks (asset)
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting exceeding 50 lbs regularly (loading appliances and bedding products)
  • Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
  • Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends
