Job summary

NEXUS Exhibits LTD is looking for an entry-level Warehouse Coordinator to oversee shipping, inventory management, and the installation of trade show exhibits. Qualifications

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure planning, scheduling, and organizational effectiveness within the warehouse department.

· Coordinate Shipping and Receiving:

o Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to organize, prepare, and schedule outgoing shipments daily, based on work orders, priorities, and deadlines.

o Receive, document, prepare, and preshow incoming shipments daily, following the “One Touch Rule”.

· Manage Warehouse Inventories:

o Client Storage

o Conduct inventory counts at fiscal year-end (June)

o Organize warehouse space for maximum efficiency, establishing a system for easy identification and retrieval of clients’ crates and client-hold items.

· Coordinate Warehouse Activities:

o Work with the Warehouse Manager to organize and schedule warehouse & installation duties daily, based on work orders, priorities, and deadlines.

o Maintain all Nexus vehicles, forklifts, and warehouse equipment in good working order, ensuring only qualified staff operate vehicles and forklifts.

· Installation of Exhibits:

o Install and dismantle exhibits primarily in Western Canada, with travel to other locations across North America. A valid passport is required.

o Ensure all client displays are “show ready” by the specified times.

o Represent Nexus professionally and courteously at all times, both in dress and communication.

· Additional duties may be assigned as Nexus Exhibits Ltd. is a small company.

Key Attributes:

· Self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented with a good memory.

· Ability to read blueprints.

· Valid driver’s license and passport required.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, general office equipment; forklift certification or ability to obtain it is an asset.

· Work conditions include a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, working under pressure, tight deadlines, and a flexible schedule including overtime.
