Job Description

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk will provide prompt responses to customer needs, load products, find items for customers, and complete tasks related to pricing, stocking, inventory, shipping/receiving in the warehouse. The role also involves practicing good housekeeping habits and maintaining a professional representation of South Country Co-op.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills; experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
  • An understanding of inventory management, asset protection, shrink, and loss prevention policies and procedures would be an asset.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Able to lift more than 55 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Forklift and skid steer experience are an asset.
  • Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
  • Being mechanically inclined is an asset.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Availability

Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, and Saturday, 9 am - 4 pm.
