Job summary

Abf Inc in Victoriaville, QC is seeking a warehouse clerk who, under the supervision of the Warehouse Coordinator, will manage shipping, receiving, and processing orders for construction-site accessories.

Responsibilities include preparing and fulfilling orders, inspecting goods from suppliers, maintaining inventory, travelling to local suppliers to stock facilities, greeting truck drivers on arrival, directing unloading, and performing related tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to perform physical work and handle equipment safely.
• Experience receiving and inspecting goods.
• Experience managing and maintaining inventory, as well as picking orders.
• Valid forklift operator’s license for the safe operation of a forklift.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Verifying the compliance and condition of materials received from suppliers and job sites by inspecting and counting the products.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance, including sweeping floors, organizing storage areas, and repairing minor damage.
• Travel to local suppliers to stock the Armatures Bois-Francs factory and offices with various materials and supplies.
• Greet truck drivers upon their arrival, receive goods in accordance with current inventory procedures (manual or computerized), and direct them to the appropriate unloading areas.
• Perform all other related tasks.

More specifically, the warehouse clerk will be responsible for:
