This Role Will Focus On

  • The primary function of this role is to perform semi-routine tasks in the shipment and receiving of materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate handling of goods within a warehouse.
  • Maintaining records for all warehouse activities, including receipts and shipments.
  • Supporting other warehouse personnel, assisting with loading and unloading, and organized workspace.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Receive and put away incoming material from Watson-Marlow, Bredel, Alitea, BioPure, Flexicon, and domestic vendors.
  • Verify on incoming material that quantity received matches quantity ordered on purchase order and packing list.
  • Pick product in accordance with quantity, part number, batch numbers, and description on pick lists
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor.
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Who You’ll Be Working With

  • You will be working directly with Warehouse Coordinator.
  • Communicating with the Customer Service Team, and Engineering.

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • High school diploma or GED and related experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous forklift experience is preferred.
  • Technical capacity, time management and thoroughness.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to resolve problems independently and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Exceptional oral and written English communication skills required to communicate with internal and external resources.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Functional knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus.
