Job summary

Vast Auto Distribution in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a warehouse associate to support daily operations under the warehouse supervisor. You will place incoming and returned merchandise in designated areas and help maintain safety procedures.

The role requires physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional pallet truck moves, with teamwork and a quick learning mindset. Knowledge of French is preferred; a high school diploma is required and forklift experience is an asset.

Qualifications

Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Place incoming and returned merchandise in the appropriate areas of the warehouse.
• Apply safety and prevention measures prescribed by the company.
• Must frequently lift and carry loads of up to 50lbs. If necessary, pull loads up to 2,200lbs. with a pallet truck.
• As part of daily duties, must frequently bend, extend, or twist and work in a squatting position when necessary.
• Performs all other related duties.
