Job summary

Vast Auto Distribution in Montreal is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily operations under the warehouse supervisor. You will position incoming and returned merchandise in the assigned areas and follow safety protocols.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional heavy loads with a pallet truck. A quick learner with team spirit and reliability will thrive in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (asset).
• French language skills (oral and written).
• Basic knowledge of mathematics.
• Warehouse experience is an asset.
• Forklift experience/license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Place incoming and returned merchandise in designated warehouse areas.
• Apply safety and prevention measures prescribed by the company.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; may pull loads up to 2,200 lbs with a pallet truck.
• Bend, extend, twist, and frequently squat as part of daily duties.
• Perform all other related duties.

Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Place incoming and returned merchandise in the appropriate areas of the warehouse.
• Apply safety and prevention measures prescribed by the company.
• Must frequently lift and carry loads of up to 50lbs. If necessary, pull loads up to 2,200lbs. with a pallet truck.
• As part of daily duties, must frequently bend, extend, or twist and work in a squatting position when necessary.
• Performs all other related duties.
