Job Summary

Summary : Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials / goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute to production workers or the assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing or shipping departments.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution, ensuring conformance to standards.
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
• Drive vehicle to transport stored or picked-up items.
• Complete requisition forms for supplies.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper glove use, handling hot items with appropriate gloves, wearing slip-resistant shoes, and using proper lifting techniques.
