Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is a material handler primarily responsible for manual case picking and order fulfillment. Mainly pick and pack the ordered product shaped in inner packages or loose cartons without causing any errors for outbound shipments. Also, reconcile the inbound items with the packing list and raise and rectify the discrepancies issues if they happen.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent
2. Basic computer skills; ability to work in multiple applications at the same time (Excel, email, WMS)
3. 1-3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse operation environment
4. Detail-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
5. Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction
6. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers
7. Dependable
8. Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
9. Ability to count and measure accurately
10. CSA-approved Safety Shoes (green label) are required
11. Able to work overtime, as required
12. Able to commute to Mississauga (Eglinton & Ridgeway)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. The primary responsibility is manual order fulfillment, which may include case or each picking, kitting, lumping, value-added services, e-commerce order fulfillment, etc.
2. Direct supervision required
3. Perform visual quality checks for correct product, damage, proper quantity, and customer shipping requirements
4. Meet deadlines.
5. Confirm that specific customer packaging requirements are met to avoid supplier penalties
6. Communicate all product defects or missing inventory to management
7. Follow specific work instructions and pre-established guidelines
8. Safely and accurately complete daily work assignments in a timely manner
9. Perform duties in a safe and productive manner
10. Assist with physical inventories
11. Work closely with shift management and leads to accomplishing shift goals.
12. Report errors and/or issues to the appropriate member of leadership to ensure the accuracy
13. Participate in all training programs provided
14. Perform other duties as assigned
