Job summary

NWS is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate in Mississauga, Ontario, for a Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM shift. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, inspect equipment, log paperwork, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong English skills, and warehouse experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work safely, and maintain accurate inventory is essential. ERP familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming materials and customer equipment against accompanying paperwork.
  • Put away materials and equipment in their designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Process returned materials and equipment according to internal procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup, following all special instructions.
  • Cut, spool, and prepare cable for shipment in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and proper documentation.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently; perform safety checks and maintain required certifications.
  • Use ERP systems or warehouse management tools to record transactions and support operations.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, secure, and compliant with safety and company standards.
  • Adhere to all established company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Present a neat and professional image at all times.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other required technologies.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
