Job summary

NCS International Co. in Edmonton is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our regular, full-time team.

The role involves day-to-day activities in a clean, climate-controlled environment, with opportunities for advancement and a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety. Typical duties include unloading trucks, inspecting received merchandise, stocking items, fulfilling customer orders on time, maintaining an organized workspace, and proposing improvements to improve warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications

• Able to lift loads up to 50 pounds and follow safe working practices.
• Comfortable working with computers and rolling equipment.
• Alert, reliable and self-reliant team member capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Offload trucks, check quantity and quality of merchandise received.
• Report missing or damaged items immediately.
• Place and locate merchandise in stock in compliance with procedures.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Suggest improvements to improve warehouse efficiency and operations.

Clean climate-controlled work environment. Opportunity for advancement. Do you have what we're looking for? Someone who is alert, a good team player, service driven. Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-reliant. Able to lift loads up to 50 pounds and has due regard for safe working practices. Comfortable working with computers and rolling equipment.

Here's a typical day: Offload trucks, check the quantity and quality of merchandise received. Report any missing or damaged items immediately. Place and locate merchandise in stock, in compliance with Business Centre practices. Prepare customer orders accurately and on time. Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe at all times. Suggest improvements to make the warehouse more functional and efficient. Help with counter service, merchandising.
