This role is responsible for maintaining high inventory accuracy, executing material handling safely, completing system transactions in the WMS/ERP, and sustaining an organized, hazard-free environment in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and 5S standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Inbound Receiving & Courier Auditing
  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming freight, vendor shipments, and stock transfers against bills of lading (BOL), purchase orders (PO), and packing slips.

  • Conduct detailed piece and carton audits of courier shipments (including Purolator and third-party freight carriers) and process inbound bulk returns.

  • Identify, document, and report damaged cartons, piece shortages, incorrect quantities, or defective items immediately; elevate receiving discrepancies according to company protocol.

2. Putaway, Stocking & Storage
  • Safely transport, position, and stock verified inventory, tools, spare parts, and operational support supplies into assigned warehouse racking, shelving, and bin locations.

  • Ensure all stock movements are accurately logged to the exact bin location in real time to prevent displaced, misplaced, or unassigned stock.

  • Maintain physical storage organization and shelving integrity so that materials remain protected, clean, and immediately accessible for order fulfillment.

3. Inventory Control, Documentation & Systems
  • Execute warehouse transactions, stock adjustments, and inventory movements accurately within the company ERP/WMS platform (including NetSuite).

  • Maintain complete and timely documentation for discrepancy logs, Return-to-Vendor (RTV) shipments, and scrap/damaged goods reporting.

  • Participate actively in cycle counts, periodic inventory audits, year-end physical counts, and root-cause reconciliation reviews as directed by management.

  • Follow inventory traceability standards, verifying serial numbers, lot numbers, SKUs, quantities, and bin locations on all system-tracked items.

4. Material Handling, Order Picking & Outbound Staging
  • Pick Execution: Accurately pull stock orders, replenishment materials, and field kits from designated bins and rack locations using physical pick tickets, RF barcode scanners, or digital pick queues.

  • Item Verification: Cross-reference SKU numbers, product descriptions, units of measure (UOM), quantities, and serial/lot numbers prior to picking to ensure complete order integrity.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate material‑handling equipment, including manual pallet jacks, rolling carts, hand trucks, and certified powered equipment (e.g., counterbalance or reach forklifts) where authorized.

  • Routing Efficiency: Follow designated pick paths, aisle traffic guidelines, and safety corridors to maintain high pick throughput and minimize aisle congestion.

  • Shortage & Discrepancy Reporting: Immediately flag bin shortages, missing items, or physical stock variances to the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

  • Staging & Packaging: Securely transfer picked orders to packing benches, apply accurate skid and carton labels, seal cartons, wrap pallets, and stage in designated outbound dock lanes for carrier collection or technician pickup.

5. Facility Maintenance, Safety & 5S Standards
  • Execute daily housekeeping tasks across dock bays, aisles, staging areas, and packing stations to preserve a clean, efficient, and hazard‑free warehouse.

  • Comply fully with occupational health and safety regulations, company lifting policies, and mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards at all times.

  • Promptly report all facility hazards, equipment faults, safety near‑misses, and workplace incidents to management.

  • Actively practice 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to support continuous operational improvement and workplace safety.

6. General Operational Support
  • Perform duties diligently, professionally, and in strict alignment with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and facility SOPs.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Inventory Control, Logistics, Procurement, Field Services, and Quality teams as needed.

  • Complete related warehouse, inventory, administrative, and distribution duties as assigned by warehouse leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements
