Title: Warehouse Associate - II (MN)

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Associate - II will be responsible for the movement of both inventory and non-inventory items within the Sun Pharma warehouse(s), production, and compounding departments, and with external customers while providing a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Operate forklift and/or pallet trucks:
  2. Timely pick, stage, load/unload trucks, check and supply components, bulk inventory, and raw materials as per pick lists for the Packaging, Compounding, and other internal departments.
  3. Verify material description, item number, lot number, container number, license plate, and counts for all inbound and outbound materials and ensure proper documentation in BPCS/SAP according to procedures.
  4. Use RF Gun and backup systems for material movements when required.
  5. Drive the 5-ton Sun Pharma Truck to move material safely between buildings.
  6. Perform timely cycle counts as required.
  7. Complete all cGMP documentation correctly and promptly.
  8. Complete all training assignments and maintain personal training records.
  9. Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area as per cGMP standards.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities (Customer Facing Roles)

Report any adverse events received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day.

Qualifications
  1. Secondary School / High School Diploma.
  2. Valid Ontario Driver’s License in good standing.
  3. Forklift truck certification.
  4. 2-5 years’ experience with Raymond Reach truck, Ride-on Walkie (Counterbalance is an asset).
  5. Experience in a warehouse environment for 2-5 years.
  6. Pharmaceutical/food environment experience is a strong asset.
  7. Excellent written and communication skills.
  8. Ability to multi-task, manage time, and work independently.
  9. Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
  10. Understanding of cGMP concepts and SOPs.
  11. Knowledge of SAP and RF systems is an asset.
  12. Ability to lift objects up to 25kg and handle drums of 220kg with equipment.
  13. Adherence to proper material handling procedures.
  14. Safety conscious.
  15. First Aid/CPR training is an asset.
  16. Ability to troubleshoot inventory issues and work as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Warehouse environment (room temperature).
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing, walking, bending, moving, and lifting safely up to 25kg, with occasional handling of drums up to 220kg using equipment.
