Job Summary

A Warehouse Associate II impacts the organization by meeting specific operational key performance indicators. This experienced employee has a general knowledge of warehousing terminology and practices. This position is responsible for warehouse functions including, but not limited to, unloading, sorting, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, and cycle counts. They may be responsible for multiple accounts and use PC-based warehouse management systems to track packages, confirm shipments, print labels, and perform inventory counts. Equipment used may include RF Scanners, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts. The employee may have direct contact with customers and vendors and works under supervision by the Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and inspect inbound product according to established SOPs.
  2. Put away product in correct location based on SOPs.
  3. Receive returns, count and confirm quantities, determine condition, and complete paperwork (e.g., invoices, bills).
  4. Obtain orders, prioritize if necessary, and select products from proper locations.
  5. Obtain and properly match up reprinted orders.
  6. Verify accuracy of orders, including product details and quantities. Escalate concerns to Lead or Supervisor.
  7. Stage and securely pack products based on SOPs.
  8. Label orders and ensure all cases are properly marked (e.g., pick/pack slips, refrigerate stickers).
  9. Arrange for shipment pick-up, contact carriers for ETA, and coordinate schedules.
  10. Handle products and duties following client procedures, GMP/SOP, and regulations.
  11. Palletize, wrap, and load skids onto trailers.
  12. Create shipping labels and paperwork, maintaining accurate data in warehouse management system.
  13. Coordinate outbound shipments.
  14. Operate power equipment safely, including pallet movers, forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
  15. Use RF Scanners to scan barcodes electronically.
  16. Enter inventory into warehouse management system, verify accuracy, and perform scheduled processes.
  17. Conduct physical inventory or cycle counts regularly.
  18. Develop inventory plans, monitor stock levels, and report discrepancies.
  19. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and communicate with supervisors.
  20. Compile client reports, including KPI data.
  21. Promote safe work practices, identify safety needs, and participate in safety committees.
  22. Ensure equipment is in proper working order.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehouse experience required.
