Job description

People Store Staffing Solutions is looking to hire Distribution Centre Associates for our client, the largest online grocery distribution project in Canada – Voilà! This 100-million-dollar, state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located in Balzac, Alberta. Be among their first employees!

Pay Rate : Starting at $17.00 per hour

PART TIME SHIFTS ALSO AVAILABLE

Responsibilities :
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy to every customer order – acts as an advocate to create the end-to-end customer experience with personal accountability.
  • The facility is temperature controlled. Must be willing to work in temperatures ranging from 0°C - 15°C.
  • Picking and Bagging customer orders into Customer Delivery Totes using the state-of-the-art system (Ocado Smart Platform), ensuring the highest quality packing standards.
  • Supporting receiving goods from suppliers and decanting products into Hive Totes using the same system.
  • Working in the Dispatch Zone, responsible for loading customer orders into delivery vans and de-kitting the returned assets.
  • Utilizing hand scan (Radio Frequency Device) technology.
  • Utilizing Mechanical Handling Equipment where applicable.
  • As a Personal Shopper, being mobile and able to complete repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Able to consistently lift/handle products up to 40 lbs, with occasional team lifting for heavier items.
  • Following Food Safety Policies and Standard Operating Procedures such as General Health and Hygiene, Allergen Policy, Temperature Checks, etc.
