Warehouse Associate (Full Time) - North Bay, ON

Primary Purpose

The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for inventory and asset management, related equipment maintenance, customer service duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining medical equipment
  • Picking orders
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Communicating via phone and email with internal and external customers
  • Administrative duties including but not limited to sorting and filing
  • Perform customer service activities including receiving and processing client walk-in or phone orders, inquiries, and/or issues covering items or products ordered along with showroom sales and inquiries from walk-in clients.
  • Co-ordination of delivery and pick-up of home medical equipment and supplies. After sales of home medical equipment.
  • Comply with Linde safety policies and procedures
  • Comply with Linde inventory management and related policies and procedures
  • Role requires maintaining the warehouse clean, by sweeping, mopping spills, maintain of toiletry supplies in washroom etc.
  • Cleaning shelves, maintain safety standards of walkways
  • Breaking down boxes for recycling
  • Asset management
  • Management of customer owned equipment
  • Participate in bi-annually physical inventories

Required Qualifications

  • Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 1-year experience working in a customer service environment
  • Inventory management experience is an asset

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Safety conscious and able to operate analytical and mechanical equipment
  • Customer focused, patient, organized, and the ability to set priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self-motivating
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • A team player who can work within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Must be able to efficiently use Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Proficiency using smart phone technology
  • JDE experience is an asset
