Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive and process stock, pick and fill orders, and manage inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent customer service with strong communication. Candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team and demonstrate leadership potential.

Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and managing inventory within the warehouse.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents
• Perform manual & computerized inventory control
• Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages & reject damaged goods
• Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received
• Oversee loading & unloading of goods
• Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed
• Including additional duties as required

About you:

• Frequent heavy lifting
• Forklift Operator Certification is an asset
• Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

The hourly wage rate for this position is $19 to $21. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
