Job summary

Sonepar Canada, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Ontario facility to ensure accurate receipt and shipment processes. The role involves heavy lifting, operating material handling equipment, and coordinating with carriers to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required as a baseline.
• Experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving preferred.
• Ontario Class G driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds+ and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient with basic computer tools including Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product.
• Prepare materials for shipment.
• Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders.
• Verify product expiration codes.
• Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating.
• Operate a Forklift or Electric Pallet Jack safely.
• Deliver products and manage loading/unloading.
• Record pickup/delivery information and maintain records.
