• Location: Dartmouth, NS
• Shifts: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Job type: Full-time | Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area.
• Completes deliveries by driving trucks to and from vendors.
• Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, maintaining a clean shipping supply area, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• This position includes shipping and receiving duties, completing shipments by processing, loading, and delivering orders, and general warehouse duties.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience working in an industrial, customer-focused environment.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to drive a truck not exceeding 14,000 kg (30,864 lbs).
• Forklift experience is required.
• Receiving experience and computer skills will be considered assets.
• Motivated to learn with a positive attitude.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Security and Controlled Goods Clearances, which are granted exclusively to Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
