Job description

We are currently looking for full-time Warehouse Associates, who will be working at our Edmonton branch from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
2. Operate a variety of equipment to unload, load, and move products.
3. Weigh products, wrap goods, and pack and unpack products.
4. Process incoming requisitions, including picking, checking, and packing orders.
5. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents.
6. Ship orders.
7. Restock bins.
8. Maintain and organize inventory.
9. Use the inventory control system to locate information, search orders, or investigate discrepancies.
10. Keep the warehouse clean.
11. Perform other general warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs.
2. Minimum 1 year experience operating Reach Trucks and 1 year experience with Order Pickers, industrial lift trucks, and pallet jacks.
3. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
4. Detail-oriented.
5. Ability to work at a fast pace.
6. Strong memory skills.
7. Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and use a scan gun for picking is an asset.
8. Team player with a positive attitude.
9. Strong problem-solving skills.
10. Steel-toed safety boots are required.
11. One year of related experience is preferred; training will be provided if needed.
