Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn to join our head office in Edmonton as a Warehouse Associate.

Under the supervision of the Inventory Manager, the Warehouse Associate will assist with receiving, inventory management, and general warehouse operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Receive incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
  • Verify incoming products against purchase orders for correct part numbers and quantities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all received items.
  • Enter received products into the inventory management system.
  • Distribute products to designated areas or departments.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Ensure safe handling of materials and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks.
  • Physically able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
  • Forklift certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
