Job summary

Upper Canada Forest Products in Burnaby, BC is hiring a Warehouse Associate for an afternoon shift (3pm–11:30pm). This full-time onsite role offers a wage of $21.00–$25.00 per hour with full benefits after probation and opportunities to develop skills in inventory control and order fulfillment.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will load and unload products, prepare shipments, handle freight according to safety rules, and maintain accurate ERP inventory records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and using a forklift.
• Prepare order for shipment, ensure the exact number and type of product loaded and shipped.
• Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with safety requirements.
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and place in correct storage location.
• As required, deliver product with a small delivery truck.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Enter updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report inventory discrepancies to management.
• Maintain organized work area according to safety policies.

What you bring to the table:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license required
• Previous forklift experience required
• Forklift license and asset but not required
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset
• Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely
