Trail Appliances in Kelowna, BC, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a temporary, full-time three-month period. The role involves receiving and storing products, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy in a warehouse managed system, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a climate-controlled environment.

Starting wage is $23 per hour, with experienced candidates at $24.10 per hour. The ideal candidate has 3 years of clamp/oversize handling experience and a forklift

Qualifications

• Requires Forklift certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in a climate-controlled warehouse.

• Be receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Operate the warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely handling products in our Kelownawarehouse. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.

This is a temporary, full-time three-month position.

Compensation:

Starting at $23 per hour.

Experienced Candidates: $24.10 per hour

You must bring 3 years of Clamp/Oversize handling experience

• Be processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
• Be receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
• Operate the warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
• Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness.
• A current or previous Forklift certification.
• A Stand-up/Sit-down counterbalance MHE experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• The ability to lift up to 50LBS
• A Good oral and written communication skills
• Working in a climate-controlled warehouse
• Comfortable working with large items.
• Must be able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes throughout the warehouse can be expected.
• Schedule: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday
