You will pick, pack, and ship building materials such as mouldings and doors, read pick lists, and operate machinery while keeping safety and accuracy a priority. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment and ability to operate various types of machinery.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift; forklift certification is an asset.
• Must have reliable transportation or the ability to transit.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship building materials, including mouldings and doors.
• Read and understand pick lists and paperwork.
• Lift, push, and pull material up to 50–60 lbs.
• Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities.
• Operate machinery such as an electric tugger and trailer as required.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Perform tasks safely and timely.
• Bin and put-away products as needed.

What You’ll Do

As the Warehouse Associate, you will have the opportunity to

• Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors
• Read and understand pick lists and paper work
• Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh between 50 - 60 lbs.
• Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities
• Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer
• Clean and tidy the work area as required
• Ensure all work is performed safely and timely
• Product binning and put-away as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, and are comfortable operating various types of machinery
• Ability to safely operate a forklift; valid forklift certification an asset.
• You must have reliable transportation or the ability to transit
• Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
