Job summary

Upper Canada Forest Products Ltd. is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Victoria, BC. This full-time, onsite role supports operations by loading, unloading, and staging products, using a forklift, and preparing shipments with accuracy.

You will help manage inventory, ensure safe handling, and participate in delivering products when needed. We value teamwork, safety, and reliable customer service to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift license is an asset but not required.
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and with a forklift.
• Prepare orders for shipment with exact quantities and product types.
• Handle freight and secure loads per safety requirements.
• Tag, mark, or label stock in correct storage locations.
• Deliver product using a small delivery truck when required.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Enter updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain organized work area per policies and safety rules.

What you will do:

• Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and using a forklift.
• Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location.
• As required, deliver product with a small delivery truck.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Key updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report any discrepancies in inventory to management.
• Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

What you bring to the table:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift license and asset but not required.
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely.
