Job summary

HIPSKIP Communications is seeking a dependable part-time Shipper/Receiver to assist with order picking, packing, and shipping at our Scarborough location, near the Toronto Zoo.

The candidate will work 15 hours a week, primarily on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Requirements include fluency in English, basic computer skills, and preferred warehouse experience. Compensation ranges from $17.60 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Fluency in English for effective communication.
Basic computer skills for handling shipping software.
Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare shipments using shipping software.
Handle documents and printed materials carefully.
Lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Skills

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Basic computer skills

Warehouse or shipping experience

Ability to use shipping web interfaces like Purolator
