Job summary

Paradies Lagardere in Toronto is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support stock delivery to our locations, assist with receiving, cycle counts and filling orders to keep merchandise well stocked.

You will work closely with sales associates and managers to put away stock, set planograms and support promotions, while maintaining a safe, clean stockroom and store environment in line with Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse, retail or customer service experience.
  • Available to work weekends and STAT holidays.
  • Strong customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock and merchandise levels across locations.
  • Receive, cycle count, returns and transfers using handheld devices.
  • Assist with putting away stock, set planograms and promotions.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service and support to co-workers.
  • Maintain safety, housekeeping and visual merchandising standards.

Job description

Associate: Will also include maintaining and delivering stock to our various locations throughout the day. Pulling reports and filling orders to ensure that merchandise levels are adequately maintained at all times. The warehouse associate works directly with the sales associates and managers assisting with putting away stock, setting planograms and various promotions. Warehouse Associates may be called upon to perform all necessary store functions to include but not limited to customer service, register transactions, maintenance, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Put the customer first at all times, (internal and external customers)
  • Provide best in class customer service through efficient inventory control processes and distribution
  • Proper utilization and respect for company issued tools and resources, with applications based on security practices of work environment
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship with your fellow associates
  • Maintain store/stockroom/warehouse appearances with respect to creating a safe workplace environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, visual merchandising; housekeeping and maintenance standards.
  • Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts., product returns, transfer transaction etc., on our handheld or Company equipment
  • Efficiently and accurate complete and required process controls (paperwork, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent application of stock security as per defined processes
  • Be able to resolve inventory control issues and elevate as required
  • Accurately report and follow up on all IMT issues
  • Identify and report to management discrepancies according to defined process
  • Price stock and assist in store stocking, where needed
Position Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work weekends and STAT Holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Minimum one year of warehouse, retail or customer service experience required
  • Must have strong customer service and effective communication skills
  • Work with a consistent sense of urgency
  • Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimal instruction
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities in unexpected situations
  • Able to lift up to 40lbs, stand for long periods of time, climbing, bending and lots of walking
