Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Associate for our Brantford, ON locations.

Strickland’s is a family-owned and operated business, serving Ontario since 1974. We began modestly and have grown into a multidimensional company offering both new and used vehicles. We now have 4 dealership locations catering to every area of today’s market, all centrally located in Ontario.

Main Duties:

• Lift 50 lbs
• Work in the service department to help with tire season twice a year
• Move customer vehicles from drive-thru area to the parking lot, perform tire checks, battery checks, etc.
• Assist with the Parts department when needed (inventory count / organizing)
• General maintenance around both dealerships in Brantford
• Help with snow removal / salting in winter
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the dealerships.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous maintenance, janitorial, or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if required.
