Job Description

As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be supporting our customers through the accurate and efficient picking and packing of outbound orders, meticulous receipt and quality check of inbound product and careful allocation of goods and supplies throughout our facility. As a valued member of the operations team, your contribution to the organization and cleanliness of our facility is crucial.

The ideal Warehouse Associate will be detail oriented, hold a valid certification on counterbalance and reach material handling forklifts, be proficient with the use and navigation of computers and radio frequency (RF) equipment. They are able to clearly communicate, listen and understand directions, and follow outlined work processes with safe and efficient care.

Responsibilities and work requirements:

  • Follow all Health and Safety policies
  • Participate in 6S organization, cleanliness, and safety initiatives daily
  • Use RF equipment and computer equipment to navigate workflows to pick and pack customer orders
  • Satisfy the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly individual safety, accuracy, and productivity metrics
  • Pick and place items from pick bin locations onto pallets or carts when completing order picking
  • Packing customer orders accurately, while ensuring items are placed appropriately in box to maintain packaging integrity
  • Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials throughout the facility, in to and out of racking structure
  • Perform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks
  • Communicate and report any incidents or near misses to leader
  • Ensure product rotation procedures are followed
  • Complete general tasks and duties as assigned by leader
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience working in a Distribution or Fulfillment warehouse
  • Experienced with WMS systems, in an RF environment
  • Team player with a customer service mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver with good math skills, that can self manage assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Strong listening skills, with ability to follow instructions
  • Proficient computer skills including the ability to use our BOSCH Group portals (training provided)
  • Ready to accept additional tasks, duties, and direction
  • Hold a valid MHE certification for counterbalance and reach forklifts, and have experience safely operating equipment to pick and place pallets and products in to and out of racking structure

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift, lower, squat, push, pull items and materials of various sizes, up to and including, 50 lbs.
  • Walk and Stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete floor
