This is a unique opportunity to work on a setup where you will get exposure to both eCommerce and Wholesale.

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring accurate documentation, packing, and overseeing loading and unloading. Handles customer orders, ensuring they are correctly documented, processed, and shipped. Tracks inventory, coordinates with suppliers, and manages billing and shipping details to ensure smooth order fulfillment. This role is shipping-dominant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Proficient at all aspects of wholesale and eCommerce, including picking, processing, packing, repacking, labeling, and posting.
  • Help maintain the integrity of the warehouse, perform cycle counts, bin balances, and replenishment to ensure stock availability for pickers.
  • Ship domestic and international orders using couriers' dedicated terminals (e.g., FedEx, UPS, Purolator), and complete all relevant documents.
  • Process, inspect, rework, and put away returned shipments in a timely manner.
  • Prepare export shipping documents - CERS.
  • Update and maintain shipping databases (FedEx, Purolator, UPS) with the supervisor.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and process orders for shipping.
  • Assist warehouse team with EDI processes. Maintain productivity metrics.
  • Review picking volumes and set staffing requirements.
  • Communicate with the Fulfillment team to maintain proper bin stock levels per customer orders.
  • Route orders using shipping portals, e.g., Navisphere 2.0.
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse and/or shipping environment.
  • Familiar with software and hardware used in distribution (e.g., ERP).
  • Eager to learn and take initiative.
  • Team-oriented with understanding of collective goals.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited guidance.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving consistently.
  • Experience with RF guns/scanners is an asset.
  • Reliable, punctual, with good time management.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with inventory management software is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
