The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing, including delivering product, picking orders, shipping, and receiving. The role requires performing duties in a timely, orderly manner with utmost care, integrity, and professionalism. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties :
- Provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers to encourage repeat business.
- Maintain good working relationships with co-workers and ECCO employees.
- Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
- Support ECCO’s Safety Program by setting a good example and prioritizing safety in all actions.
- Follow shipping and receiving policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Accurately receive all manufacturing and resale products promptly, following ECCO’s receiving procedures.
- Keep the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard clean and organized; fill pick bins as needed.
- Perform physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments manually or with material handling equipment.
- Pick and ship goods efficiently and accurately to customers.
- Ensure proper documentation accompanies each shipment, including packing, sealing, and labeling materials.
- Prepare picking tickets.
- Assist with loading trailers and preparing/shipping LTL orders as needed.
- Deliver products, supplies, and merchandise from the warehouse to various locations.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to supervisors.
- Participate in annual inventory counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
