Job description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing, including delivering product, picking orders, shipping, and receiving. The role requires performing duties in a timely, orderly manner with utmost care, integrity, and professionalism. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Duties :

  • Provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain good working relationships with co-workers and ECCO employees.
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
  • Support ECCO’s Safety Program by setting a good example and prioritizing safety in all actions.
  • Follow shipping and receiving policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Accurately receive all manufacturing and resale products promptly, following ECCO’s receiving procedures.
  • Keep the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard clean and organized; fill pick bins as needed.
  • Perform physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments manually or with material handling equipment.
  • Pick and ship goods efficiently and accurately to customers.
  • Ensure proper documentation accompanies each shipment, including packing, sealing, and labeling materials.
  • Prepare picking tickets.
  • Assist with loading trailers and preparing/shipping LTL orders as needed.
  • Deliver products, supplies, and merchandise from the warehouse to various locations.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in the warehouse.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to supervisors.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
