Job summary

JD Sports is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Coquitlam Warehouse to support the flow of product to stores. You will handle, box, sort, and label merchandise, requiring good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

The role is on-site with full-time, permanent status and a schedule Monday through Friday, with some weekend hours. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work shifts that include mornings or evenings.

Qualifications

• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk up to 8 hours daily.
• Flexibility to work weekends as required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in fashion and/or streetwear is an asset.
• Reach Forklift certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive product manually, verify invoices against physical product and record in inventory system.
• Pick and ship orders efficiently and accurately.
• Label and organize products in the warehouse.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
• Daily use of the inventory system.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

The Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Coquitlam Warehouse! This position is responsible for providing support to warehouse team by handling, boxing, sorting, and labeling product. You must have good manual dexterity and be detail oriented. Overall, you will be responsible for the flow of product to our stores and ensure our customers are receiving their items.

• Receiving product manually by checking if the invoice and physical product sent matches and electronically through our inventory system.
• Picking and shipping orders efficiently and accurately.
• Manually labeling and organizing product in the warehouse.
• Conducting cycle counts of inventory.
• Daily use of our inventory system.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries by hand, as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.
