Job description

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time reliable and detail-oriented Picker / Packers to join our client's warehouse team in Port Coquitlam, BC . In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring all products meet quality standards and are handled safely and efficiently.

  • Pay Rate : $ 19.50 / hour
  • Location : Port Coquitlam, BC
  • Shift : 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities :

  • Pick items from shelves and storage areas according to pick lists and customer orders.
  • Pack products securely, ensuring proper labeling and packaging to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Prepare completed orders for shipping, including boxing, palletizing, and staging.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking incoming shipments as needed.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure orders are accurate and complete.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified).
  • Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to meet daily shipping deadlines.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is an asset.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 30-40 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends if required.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
