Job summary

Garaga Inc. in Aldergrove, BC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to maintain efficient operations in our new distribution center. You will receive, inspect, store, pick and pack shipments, and collaborate with the logistics team to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires a reliable team player with strong organization, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred or willing to obtain it; experience with warehouse software is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory software or warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify accuracy and check for damages.
  • Put away stock using warehouse equipment and ensure proper labeling and storage by location.
  • Pick and pack orders according to delivery schedules and customer requirements.
  • Prepare shipping documents, print labels, and coordinate pickups with carriers.
  • Perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with physical inventory.
  • Assist with unloading/loading trucks using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring aisles and exits remain clear.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including PPE, signage, and equipment use.
  • Report issues or inventory concerns to the warehouse lead in a timely manner.

We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate for our new distribution center in Aldergrove, Vancouver district, B.C.

You will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This position involves handling inventory, organizing warehouse space, and supporting the logistics team with various tasks. You will have strong organizational skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a team.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Start date: July 7th, 2025
  • Number of positions to fill: 1
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: $20/hr - $24/hr, based on experience.
  • Work Schedule: 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday)

Required qualifications for our Warehouse Associate:

  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations (1–3 years preferred).
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain it).
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory software or warehouse systems.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and organized.
  • Team player with strong communication and work ethic.
