Warehouse Associate

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $19/hr

Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a candidate to perform General Labour duties for our client who specializes in customized coatings for a variety of industries. If you are looking for a great environment and an opportunity to grow within a team, this role might be for you. It is located in the North end of Brampton.

Note: MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE OR HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO REACH JOB SITE

Responsibilities:

  • Load/Unload incoming and outgoing orders
  • Comfortable being around paint environment
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Pouring paint into packages
  • Match product with shipping or PO documentation during shipment
  • Identify discrepancies and bring them to the attention of QC
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
  • Attach identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
  • Schedule, track, and verify shipments as required
  • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies as required
  • Maintain a safe, organized working environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding position
  • Must be comfortable using a computer
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
  • Strong analytic and math skills required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to read and write English
  • High school diploma or higher (equivalent work experience is acceptable)
