Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a part-time permanent role at our Ajax facility. The job involves sorting and stocking packages and loading/unloading them from UPS delivery vehicles and trailers.

Workdays are Monday to Friday, 4:00am to 9:00am, with 3–5 hour shifts. Candidates must lift up to 70 lbs, be available Monday to Saturday, and can pursue advancement within a Fortune 500 organization. Paid training and benefits apply after eligibility.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate’s position is a physical fast-paced and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.

Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent

Work Location:575 Harwood Ave North, Ajax Ontario, L1Z 0K4

Workdays: Monday to Friday- 4:00am to 9:00am

Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day *(Flexibility is required with both the start and finish times).

All Applicants must work a minimum 25 hrs/ week

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
• Sort and stock packages based on postal codes

Compensation and Benefits:

• $18.50/hr. / automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement.
• Unionized position with automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate of $36.53/hr. after 48 months of service
• Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance)

Monthly union dues (approximately $52/month) A union initiation fee of $50 (will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS)
