Job summary

A leading company in Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage the efficient operations of their warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and shipping materials, as well as operating forklifts and other equipment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Certified forklift operator with valid license (Raymond Reach & Counter Balance).

Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, and other duties as assigned to ensure efficient warehouse operations. They will move materials within the warehouse and load/unload materials onto or from vehicles using equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or Technical degree
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Certified forklift operator with valid license (Raymond Reach & Counter Balance)
• Basic math skills equivalent to high school level
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Shift Schedule: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use material handling equipment to unload incoming trailers
• Verify and receive materials into inventory
• Pick raw materials, components, or supplies based on pick sheets
• Mark and shrink-wrap pallets
• Perform receiving, checking, and storing duties as needed
• Stack pallets and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Move and store materials within the warehouse using MH equipment
• Pick and verify orders according to standards
• Load goods into trailers or transport vehicles using MH equipment
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor
