THE ROLE:
  • Selecting and assembling product for store orders, accurately and efficiently in all climates (dry, coolers, and freezers)
  • Securing cases and conducting final pallet preparations by wrapping loads and applying shipping labels
  • Properly identifying all cases and pallets with the correct store number
  • Performing visual and operational vehicle safety inspections and reporting unsafe vehicles
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks (training provided)
  • Complying with Occupational Health and Safety Act Section 28
  • Adhering to all HACCP and Food Handling practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs repeatedly with accuracy in a timed environment
  • Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments (+5 to -28 degrees)
  • Ability to work around machinery and use electric-powered pallet jacks
  • Ability to follow voice-automated system instructions for order picking and organization
  • Flexible schedule, available Monday through Sunday, including STAT holidays
