Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking an Operations Support Associate to help ensure smooth goods flow through our Distribution Centre. You will handle clerical tasks, verify information, and support ongoing process improvements while collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include analyzing WMS issues, maintaining records, and performing data entry in systems like Manhattan. A strong Excel/Word proficiency and DC operations knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel & Word is essential.
• Knowledge of Distribution Center operations and systems is a plus.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (eMS) SAP applications is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report WMS and process issues, assist in root-cause analysis and solution recommendations.
• Monitor Advance Shipping Notice compliance from vendors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and maintenance.
• Resolve problems that affect DC operations and service levels.
• Communicate with vendors to coordinate shipments and issues.
• Perform receipt verification and make inventory adjustments in WMS.
• Trigger allocations for store distributions and prepare disposition for shipments.
• Enter data in system applications (e.g., Manhattan) as required.
