Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a friendly Server to create memorable guest experiences. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and help ensure smooth events.

Ideal candidates bring previous serving experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Food safety certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or in a food service role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage to guests according to orders and/or banquet menu.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and all other offerings.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events.
• Replenish food and beverage products.
• Adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe‑drinking guidelines, including checking guests’ identification.
• Provide excellent customer service, anticipating guests’ needs.
• Break down and clean/sanitize food service areas, workstations, and equipment.
• Maintain a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, co‑workers, etc.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure security of company assets.
