Job Description

As the VP - Sales (EES Ontario), you will create a culture of empowered performance while leading and developing a high-performing team. You will set strategy to drive profitable growth, develop strong customer partnerships, oversee daily operations, and deliver innovations to enhance the customer experience. This role works in conjunction with Wesco’s Strategic Business Units and their sales organizations.

Responsibilities
  1. Define the short- and long-term roadmap for Wesco’s strategic sales and transformation initiatives.
  2. Launch new products and brands, expanding reach within global accounts.
  3. Manage top-line growth through planning and forecasting, while enhancing growth and profitability in solution categories.
  4. Establish goals and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with peers in the Strategic Business Unit.
  5. Develop and lead a team of Sales Leaders.
  6. Engage with existing and new customers to promote profitable growth.
  7. Foster and grow relationships with key suppliers and vendors to support Wesco’s growth and technology expansion, helping partners increase market share and brand recognition.
  8. Collaborate on marketing initiatives for product categories.
  9. Oversee pricing and marketing strategy development and execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 12–15 years of general management experience managing P&L.
  • Extensive experience in growing market share, managing price/volume strategies, exploring new revenue streams, and working with customers/intermediaries to drive sales.
  • Strong understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and market insights, with effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • 12-15 years of vendor relationship management experience.
  • Proven ability to build and develop teams, foster collaboration, and clarify roles and responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, persuasive, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and adaptability.
  • Highly collaborative, capable of interacting effectively at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth industry knowledge of distribution, solutions, and products.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.

Compensation ranges from $195,892 to $352,606 annually, with potential bonuses, equity, and other benefits. Additional benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
