Job summary

Legend is seeking a VP Product to lead and shape product and design across its global sports portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Sports Officer, you will drive strategy, roadmap and execution, partnering with leadership to turn ambitious goals into compelling product visions.

You will champion data-informed decision making, stakeholder alignment and a next-level operating model, while exploring AI-enabled opportunities to deliver smarter, more valuable experiences for customers and the business.

The Role

This is a defining Product leadership opportunity at Legend.

Our Sports business is entering its next chapter. We’re bringing together world-class technology, data, design and product expertise to build exceptional experiences for millions of sports fans around the world - and we’re looking for a VP Product to lead and shape what comes next.

Reporting directly to our Chief Sports Officer, you’ll lead Product and Design across our global Sports portfolio and play a pivotal role in shaping both what we build and how we build it.

You’ll influence the strategy behind some of the most recognized brands in sports betting and media, turn ambitious business goals into compelling product visions, and bring those visions together into a clear roadmap.

Our ambition is to evolve our products beyond highly used and engaging tools into experiences that become an essential part of how sports fans make betting decisions - deepening engagement, growing our member base and creating greater value for both our customers and the business.

This isn’t about maintaining the status quo. It’s about taking our Product function to the next level.

You’ll evolve our Product operating model, strengthen the partnership between Product, Design, Engineering and commercial leadership, and embed data, customer insight and experimentation more deeply into the decisions we make.

Your Impact

• Set the bar for Product and Design leadership. Lead, coach and develop Product and Design leaders and teams across our international markets, creating the conditions for exceptional thinking and execution.
• Turn ambition into a global product vision. Partner with Pillar leadership to define compelling product visions for our properties and connect them through a cohesive Sports-wide roadmap - balancing global opportunities and commercial agreements.
• Create clarity and drive outcomes. Translate business and product strategy into focused priorities, actionable roadmaps, measurable outcomes and consistently high-quality execution.
• Evolve how Product works at Legend. Lead the next evolution of our Product operating model, strengthening how teams plan, prioritize, collaborate and deliver while building strong alignment across senior stakeholders.
• Make insight a competitive advantage. Embed analytics, competitor intelligence, user insight, discovery and experimentation into product development, enabling teams to make sharper decisions and validate them faster.
• Shape what’s next with AI. Identify and apply AI opportunities that accelerate how we build and unlock smarter, more valuable experiences for our customers.

What You'll Bring

• Significant experience leading Product teams in ambitious consumer technology businesses, with the leadership range to operate across multiple brands, markets or product areas.
• A strong track record of defining product strategy and turning bold vision into successful, measurable execution.
• Experience building and evolving high-performing Product organizations, operating models and delivery practices - and leading teams successfully through change.
• A deeply data-informed approach to Product, combining analytics, experimentation, customer insight and commercial judgement to make better decisions.
• Exceptional people leadership, with a genuine passion for coaching and developing Product Managers, Product leaders and Designers.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, with the confidence to influence, challenge constructively and build alignment, alongside a track record of partnering closely with Engineering to turn product strategy into scalable, high-quality experiences.

Experience in high-growth consumer businesses such as sports betting, gaming, digital media, marketplaces or e-commerce would be highly valuable.

The Interview Process

1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (45 mins via Zoom)
2nd: Interview with Hiring Manager (1-hour video via Zoom)
3rd: Take-home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and present it back to the team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (Hiring Manager) (1 hour video via Zoom)
4th: Short working session/case with team, Interviewer 1, Interview 2and Interviewer 3 (1-hour video via Zoom)
5th Final interview
