Job description

As Vice President of Product, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving our global product strategy and platform vision—fueling sustained growth, strengthening our market differentiation, and delivering long-term value for our customers and shareholders.

You’ll lead the evolution of our SaaS platform and product portfolio, supporting telecommunications providers, managed service providers (MSPs), channel partners, and enterprise organizations navigating complex Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) ecosystems. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of market insight, technology innovation, and commercial strategy—bringing forward solutions that are scalable, secure, and purpose-built to solve real industry challenges.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will translate corporate strategy into a clear, compelling product vision and drive disciplined execution against a high-impact roadmap. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, you’ll ensure our product investments accelerate adoption, enhance platform differentiation, and position us for long-term market leadership.

We are looking for a product leader who will not just evolve our platform—but fundamentally rethink how organizations manage and optimize complex communications ecosystems. This role is expected to challenge convention, introduce bold ideas, and unlock new sources of growth through innovation, AI, and platform expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision

  • Define and lead a clear product strategy aligned with growth objectives and market opportunity.
  • Own a multi-year roadmap balancing innovation, scalability, and customer value.
  • Drive differentiated solutions across the evolving UCC ecosystem for telecom providers, MSPs, and enterprises.
  • Oversee the full SaaS product lifecycle from ideation to optimization.
  • Implement strong prioritization, governance, and performance tracking.
  • Balance investments across innovation, scalability, and customer needs while continuously improving product quality and experience.

Market Insight and Customer Focus

  • Maintain deep understanding of UCC trends, competition, and emerging technologies.
  • Engage customers and partners to validate direction and uncover opportunities.
  • Translate insights into clear product requirements and compelling value propositions.

Execution and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver against roadmap priorities.
  • Support go-to-market strategy, positioning, and adoption.
  • Communicate product vision and progress to executives, investors, and the Board.

Commercial Impact

  • Align product strategy with ARR growth, retention, and expansion.
  • Develop scalable packaging and pricing models.
  • Strengthen competitive positioning through product-led differentiation.

Team Leadership and Organizational Development

  • Build, lead and inspire a high-performing product team.
  • Foster a culture of customer focus, accountability, and data-driven execution.
  • Develop leaders and scalable product practices to support growth.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of product leadership experience within B2B SaaS environments
  • Proven success leading product organizations in growth-stage or public technology companies
  • Strong domain expertise in Unified Communications, telecommunications, enterprise collaboration, or IT management platforms
  • Experience building and scaling products within complex, multi-vendor ecosystems
  • Track record of delivering solutions across both enterprise and channel-driven markets
  • Deep understanding of SaaS economics, platform strategy, and monetization models
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear, differentiated customer value
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven leader with strong analytical and strategic acumen

The ideal candidate is a progressive, hands-on leader and builder who leads by example and fosters a highly collaborative, team-first environment. You are passionate about mentoring and developing others, building strong, high-performing teams, and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive results. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you value visibility and connection, with a strong appreciation for being present and engaged while working from our head office in Kanata, Ontario.
